The 2007 Weblog Awards are about to honor hundreds of blogs this year too and nominations are closing fast within 24 hours, so hurry to get your nomination in for lots of popular blog award categories.

The nominations are closing and you could be lucky to get your site in.
“Over the next 24 hours we will be closing nominations for most categories. This is a manual process so it takes a while to complete. As long as a category allows you to enter a comment (which is how you submit a nomination) then nominations for that category are still open. The “+” rating of nominees will remain open throughout the awards.”
Most of the categories are closed, however, a few with lesser nominations are still open. The best way to comment is to sign in via SixApart’s Typekey service, AIM Id, WordPress ID or OpenID, and the comment will appear instantly. Anonymous comments are moderated and will appear in 24 hours. If your favorite category is not displaying the comment form, then try another related category.

Seventh Annual Weblog Awards, better known as the 2007 Bloggies are now open for nominations. Nominate your favorite blogs for the 2007 Bloggies in a wide range of categories.
Only one nomination form and one finalist voting form may be submitted per person. Your ballot will be verified by a confirmatory email. The maximum number of weblogs you may nominate for a category is three for most categories and four for Weblog of the Year. At least three different weblogs total must be nominated. and their is no limit to the number of categories a weblog may be nominated for.
Nominations close January 10, 2007. On January 22, the finalists will be announced and voting will be open again to choose the winners, who will be declared in March.

Yahoo! Pipes is a very powerful composition tool to aggregate, manipulate, and mashup content from around the web. I was looking for a simple yet powerful and reliable tool to add, join and remix all feeds from our blogs - our main blog, our tumblelog and status blog. Using Yahoo pipes not only could I join these feeds, I could truncate them to the number of posts I wanted, sort them by date, split them, and there are so many functions and operators that I could create any combination possible. I am still tweaking the way I can make the feed better.
